Whether you’re looking to book an intimate event or a classic shindig, our 3 distinct spaces suit between 14 to 80 people.   

There are different options when booking The Lion & Wombat, you can either hire the individual spaces exclusively, or for larger events you can hire the whole venue.

Our seated and canapé menus (listed below) are focused on classic, seasonal dishes with our nostalgic British twist. Our wine list is a mix of old and new world and our beers champion local breweries. We have a classics cocktail offering as well as a range of unique house tipples.

    The restaurant space features our signature navy blue walls decorated with an eclectic mix of art and collectibles. A long tan banquette booth runs the length of the art wall for a comfortable dining experience.

    Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Grey Street, our sun-filled beer garden is a leafy, sheltered space that is part of the buildings internal outdoor square. Its surrounded by landscaped gardens, climbing greenery and colourful blooms in the summer months.

    Our smallest space, the snug is perfect for intimate gatherings and celebrations. Consisting of two round dining tables and our chesterfield leather lounge area this is a mixed seating option. Our sofa area looks into leafy Clyde Street where you can sit back and watch the world go by.
